Exterior

More sporty, and built on the design concept of "Toughness and agility", the high-grade styling of Subaru's flagship sedan, the Legacy, offers the same luxurious and comfortable cabin space of previous models.

The sculpted body creates confidence on the road, and is coupled with the strength of the uniquely road-hugging suspension of an All-Wheel Drive.

The side body is composed of dynamic, lively character lines and highly expressive planes. Fat fenders and plus-size tires create the tough and sporty look only an AWD sedan can achieve.

Interior

The roomy interior space ensures comfort on long drives. The interior was given a higher-quality, more deluxe appearance through the use of finely textured coverings, thick padding and stitching throughout.

All-Wheel Drive

AWD systems distribute power to all four tyres in a balanced manner. This creates the most neutral handling possible, as there is no loss of grip in the direction that the vehicle is travelling, even if the vehicle is cornering. If one wheel starts to lose traction on slippery road surfaces, the other three driving wheels can provide the required traction to compensate, giving the driver greater peace of mind.

Boxer Engine

Subaru believes that the HorizontallyOpposed Boxer Engine is the optimum design for driving enjoyment. The pistons face away from each other in a 180° symmetrical layout around the crankshaft and work to balance out each other's vibrations, delivering a smooth, shudder-free feel. This is because the engine can rotate freely at any given speed, delivering heart-gripping response to the driver.

Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frames

Strengthens the passenger cabin from the roof to the doors, pillars and floor. This design helps to divert and dissipate impact energy away from the occupants in a collision.
